GEORGIA HOME CARE ASSIST
Get Paid to Take Care of Your Loved Ones
With Georgia Home Care Assist we help families get approved for Medicaid home care services. We assist with the process every step of the way!
A little bit about the program:
If you are providing care to a loved one that is partially or completely dependent on assistance from others, there is a Medicaid program that can allow them to choose their own caregiver. The caregiver will receive compensation for caring and giving support to the client.
The client goes through an assessment process which determines their eligibility and number of hours of care per week.
The type of client that may be served is: someone with limited mobility, advanced age, blindness, chronic medical conditions that limit their ability to care for themselves, recovering from surgery, declining in health, functional limitations (from a stroke for example), anyone needing assistance around their home due to physical limitations.
Client must be aged 21 years or older to receive services and caregiver must be at least 18 years of age.
